About Us
Founded 1978 in the San Francisco Bay Area, Columbia Cosmetics has grown into one of the largest private label cosmetic manufacturers in North America. We offer a full line of stock color cosmetics and cutting-edge skin care products as well as complete custom formulation services.
Columbia Cosmetics Manufacturing Inc. is located in a modern, state-of-the-art, 65,000 square foot facility, which houses our Research and Development Laboratory, QA/QC Laboratory, Corporate Offices, Art Department and our main product showroom.
Our private label and custom formulas can be found in over 170 different countries. Our clientele includes internationally recognized prestigious cosmetic retailers, beauty salons and spas, upscale boutiques, and color and image consultants. Many of our products have been featured in high end magazines, used on blockbuster movie sets and runways, and have won numerous awards.

We have all the necessary accreditations and approvals to perform your operator certification, including ISO9001, ISO17025 and PTCRB Accreditations. WE are also GCF ACE and RTO. Our competent certification specialists have long experience in the industry and we know what it takes to get your devices through the process optimally while making sure that it meets the expectations of the industry, operators, and this way the end users.

Doing what’s right to protect resources and the planet for future generations. We continually implement new ways to lower energy usage, cut waste, conserve resources, and decrease emissions to keep the air and environment clean.
We have Installed 146kW solar energy system providing all our energy needs
We have installed LED lighting throughout the office and manufacturing areas.
We have implemented recycling programs for office papers, magazines and newsprint, drink containers, plastic film and wrap, and we’re adding additional waste streams programs when possible.

Many of our customers use resources from all around the world. We strive to source our ingredients responsibly and sustainably with respect for local communities and the environment. We expect our suppliers to comply with local regulations and national laws governing minimum wages, work hours, overtime compensation, hiring, occupational safety, forced and/or child labor and biodiversity.
Our purchasing team meets regularly to review our sourcing standards, analyze and benchmark best practices, engage key suppliers and develop and implement practices to advance sustainable sourcing within the Company
